Founder– Peyman Shahsavari

Peyman is the founder of Fyllo and a senior electrical and automation engineer with over 30 years of experience across the oil & gas, chemical, energy, and pharmaceutical industries. His background spans electrical and instrumentation engineering, process automation, and more than a decade of functional safety engineering, combined with extensive involvement in both greenfield and brownfield projects. He has supported industrial organizations throughout the full asset lifecycle, enabling high system reliability, regulatory compliance, and effective long-term asset management.

Alongside his technical expertise, Peyman brings strong executive and leadership capabilities, developed through senior roles within complex industrial projects and operational environments. He is recognized for clear communication, structured decision-making, and the ability to align multidisciplinary teams around common objectives. His cross-domain experience allows him to bridge engineering disciplines effectively, ensuring controlled execution from concept through commissioning. Technical Skills

Electrical and Instrumentation

Peyman brings comprehensive expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) engineering for industrial and energy applications, with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability. Peyman’s experience includes electrical safety in accordance with IEC 60204, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Conformité Européenne (CE) marking, ingress protection (IP) classifications, and full compliance with ATEX requirements, including the Equipment Directive 2014/34/EU.

He has supported projects throughout the complete E&I engineering lifecycle, including the selection and specification of field instrumentation such as transmitters, control valves, and analyzers. His expertise extends to pneumatic and hydraulic hook-up and tubing design, Motor Control Center (MCC) engineering, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) applications, and detailed electrical calculations and equipment sizing. In addition, he has designed and reviewed metering systems, including wet gas metering calculations, to ensure accurate measurement and compliance.

Peyman has delivered high-quality engineering documentation, including wiring and loop diagrams, cabling layouts, and single-line diagrams, supporting safe installation, commissioning, and long-term operation of industrial facilities.

Process Automation

Brings deep expertise in process control and industrial automation for complex and safety-critical environments. His experience spans the design, review, and integration of distributed control systems (DCS), safety instrumented systems (SIS), and PLC-based solutions, aligned with recognized industry standards and operational requirements.

He has extensive hands-on experience in developing process control philosophies, control narratives, cause-and-effect diagrams, and alarm management strategies, supporting safe and stable plant operation. His skill set includes instrumentation and analyzer selection, specification, and integration, ensuring accurate process measurement and reliable control across diverse industrial applications.

Peyman is highly experienced in rotating machinery control, including compressor and turbine control systems, anti-surge protection, performance and load control, start-up and shutdown sequencing, and machinery safeguarding. 

Through a disciplined, system-level approach, Peyman enables reliable operation, optimized performance, and long-term maintainability of process control systems in demanding industrial environments.

Functional Safety Engineering
Functional safety engineering services in accordance with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511, supported by TÜV-certified expertise and extensive industrial experience. to serve detailed risk assessment, SIL classification and verification, development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS), proof test definition, and functional safety assessments.

Machine safety services aligned with ISO 12100, ISO 13849-1, and IEC 62061 to support safe and compliant machinery operation. With experience across process equipment, rotating machinery, and industrial control systems, Peyman applies AI and digital twin technologies to performance optimization, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and operational insight. This combination of deep engineering knowledge and advanced data science enables the practical adoption of intelligent systems that support reliable, efficient, and future-ready industrial operations.

Leadership

Peyman brings strong, experience-based leadership to complex industrial and engineering environments. Over more than three decades, he has held senior and lead roles across multidisciplinary projects, guiding teams through all phases of the asset lifecycle—from concept development and FEED to commissioning, operation, and long-term optimization. His leadership style is pragmatic, structured, and collaborative, with a strong focus on aligning technical excellence with business, safety, and operational objectives.

Throughout his career, Peyman has managed and coordinated multicultural engineering teams, consultants, vendors, and contractors, frequently acting as the central technical and decision-making interface between asset owners, EPC organizations, and technology providers. He is known for clear, concise, and effective communication at both technical and executive levels, enabling stakeholders to make well-informed decisions in complex and time-critical project environments.

With a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, Peyman excels at assessing complex systems, identifying technical and operational risks, and developing practical, compliant solutions under demanding regulatory constraints.
